Waterloo Design Proud Sponsors to Help Fight Cancer

Waterloo Design is proud to be the sponsor of the collaboration of the Steuben County Cancer Association, 98.9 The Bear and DeKalb Distributors cancer donation card fundraiser. Launching October 1st, all of DeKalb Distributors retailers will be selling the 98.9 The Bear cancer donation cards; black cards with The Bear logo are $1 and pink cards with The Bear logo are $5. All proceeds from this event will go 100% directly to cancer patients of Steuben County to assist in medical bills, medicine, and other needs. All people associated with the functioning of the Steuben County Cancer Association are working on volunteer base and all devote their heart to this honorable charity. Waterloo Design is grateful to be the sponsor of this event; we designed both donation cards and will be designing further advertisement for this event and also donating our time in creating the website for the Steuben County Cancer Association. More information about this event will be coming soon; make sure to check your local paper in DeKalb and surrounding areas as the entire collaborative group of Waterloo Design, Steuben County Cancer Association, 98.9 The Bear and DeKalb Distributors will be featured front page of the Lifestyle section of your paper this Sunday!

Black and white photography takes us back to a simpler time with only value changes to distinguish color differences; yet this form, at one time primitive, resurfaces as a completely classic form of art that can never be matched in its beauty and soothing quality. This medium can tell an incredibly dynamic story with only a few attributes: light, contrast, and value. Getting Down To Business With A Morning Meeting And Some Lucky Charms

A kind surprise from our dear "Andy the Intern" Trevor on his last day before returning to school was a yummy bowl of Lucky Charms for all of the Creative Minds of Waterloo Design. Today we gathered around the rich cherry wood conference table (now the 'cereal table') each with a colorful bowl filled with Lucky Charms and discussed this weeks projects and goals. We all want to say a big thank you Trevor for the sweet thought and all your hard work that you managed to do seamlessly and always with a smile. We will miss you and we hope you return soon to keep us in line, spelling and all!

We joined Digg and we now are digging these amazing Adobe Photoshop tutorials from Psdtut+ The tutorials range from beginner to advanced and include Photoshop text effect tutorials, photo manipulation tutorials and how to create Photoshop effects. Check out this before and after tutorial on turning a normal city photo into a post-apocalyptic scene.
